Bio
In her interdisciplinary work VonTrevellin connects the diasporic movement of her Italian and Portuguese ancestors, who fleeing the First World War, crossed the ocean to the new continent, with her own movement. Having taken the opposite route, enables the artist to observe the phenomenon of post immigration, as she herself becomes an immigrant. In this context, Trevellin uses materials that evoke the human relationship with natural resources, the awareness of their exploitation and new ways of valuing these elements for the transformation and revitalization of society. With her work NOVAWATER*Club, VonTrevellin opens new ways for the exchange of capital - cultural, social, economic - among all continents.
